People are talking, and wondering how the world has changed since 9-11. On my drive home this evening I tuned in to Moody radio. They were having a “Prayer Concert” .It’s where Broadcast personalities ,Special speakers ,and AVERAGE Joes call in to reflect and lead in prayer.Some were being “politically correct” others were to the point.At this time of the broadcast they were praying that the LORD would send a personal spiritual awakening to us as individuals first, then to OUR nation. One commented that early on in the few days after 9-11 Too many churches were worried about offending other faiths ,so to appear to be non divisive ,they watered down the gospel message.
The Christian message to some is offensive by virtue of its unapologetic proclamation that Yeshua-Jesus is the Promised Messiah. Rabbis rightly ask “where is the Kingdom” “The Messianic Age “ the restored creation, balance ,and peace in the world.
My response is that you can’t have the Reign ,before Righteousness.
The first order of business is the SIN problem .That was the First order of business in the Garden of Eden after the fall of Adam& Eve. hence the slain animal for the “covering”
Its in the Garden that Messiah is hinted at in Genesis 3:15.
Consider Isaiah 51 & 53, as well as Daniel 9:25&26,
The future of Israel is in verse 27 of Daniel chapter 9. The Peace covenant to come will be brokered by the same ones responsible for the temple’s destruction in 70 A.D.
Getting back to the need for awakening, we really need a spiritual revival here in America. I agreed in prayer with a dear brother that GOD would shake America as he never shook her before in order to bring us to our knees. I seem to have observed some of that, as I listened to the broad cast of “spoken prayer” all across the 300+ stations in the Moody network. Leading in a “moment of silence” is really not what GOD is about. If you don’t know how to pray,PRACTICE in Private so YOU won’t be ashamed to pray in public.The sad state of affairs in this nation is because ,we the PEOPLE have been silent too long.
THE church needs to Stand UP for Israel in her time of need. I will pledge the rest of my Days to awaken the Church to that end.I will not be silent any longer.
I love GOD, Israel, Jews, Gentiles,and the answer to all your SIN problems is in the ONCE and for ALL Sacrifice made by GOD just like HE did in the Garden for ADAM & EVE, Only this time the covering provided wasn’t a skin of an animal ,but the ETERNAL righteousness He Freely gave us if we Repent of what We ARE ,and that is SINNERS ,who SIN ,and are in need of Atonement;by faith we receive the IMPUTED righteousness That only GOD can provide.
